Types of Tactical Knives

Types Of Tactical Knives

There are a number of different types of tactical knives on the market. Some of these include the ESEE 4, TDI, Ka-Bar, Carson Flipper, Becker, and Hogue K320 AXG Pro. Each of these models has its own unique features and characteristics, so be sure to consider them when you are shopping for a new knife.

ESEE 4

If you’re looking for a tactical knife, the ESEE 4 is a great option. It’s lightweight, durable, and built to be a long-term staple in your collection. But it also has a few issues. Despite the fact that ESEE knives are well built, they are not perfect.

A full tang blade contributes to the strength of the ESEE-4. The manufacturer also designed the grip to be thick and heavy, allowing you to hold the knife securely in your hand. That means it’s likely to stay in place with shooting gloves.

ESEE makes a number of different sheaths, from simple polymer sheaths to MOLLE set ups. The standard ESEE-4 comes with a black molded plastic sheath.

Ka-Bar

Ka-Bar tactical knives are an iconic name in the knife industry. Their designs are practical and useful for everyday use. They are also great for combat. KA-BAR knives are designed for heavy use and withstand a variety of impacts.

The Ka-Bar company has been around for over a century. It originated in Tidioute, PA. In 1911, the company relocated to Olean, NY. Today, most of the KA-BAR products are still made in the United States. Occasionally, they are also manufactured in other countries.

Aside from its iconic design, Ka-Bar has also earned a reputation for manufacturing a variety of tactical knives. These include a variety of tanto blades and a small military utility knife.

Carson Flipper

If you are looking for an affordable and effective folding knife, the CRKT(r) M16 Tanto Knife with Carson flipper is a great option. Its rugged design, superior performance and durable stainless steel handle provide you with a tough and reliable tool.

The CRKT(r) M16 Tanto knife features a Carson flipper, which provides excellent blade deployment. This sturdy, 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade boasts a durable black oxide finish. It comes with a two-position carry clip.

The M16 line of folding knives by CRKT is a tribute to the legendary Master Sergeant Kit Carson. Its classic design has been updated with four different variants. Each is a unique take on the classic folding knife. Whether you prefer a spear point, a tanto or a 3.5″ drop point, you will find a blade style that suits your needs.

Hogue K320 AXG Pro

Hogue teamed up with Sig Sauer to produce a series of knives inspired by Sig’s P320 pistol line. The line is called the K320 AXG. This tactical mission knife features a high-performance CPM-S30V stainless steel blade.

The blade is 4.50 inches closed and 3.50 inches wide. It is available in tanto or drop point styles.

The frame is made of aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum with a four-way convertible pocket clip. The handle has milled G10 inserts. These are surrounded by non-slip grip panels that are made of G10.

The blade is a 3.5-inch long CPM-S30V stainless steel drop point. It has a plain edge and a reverse checkered texture.

Becker

When it comes to outdoor knives, Becker Knife and Tool is one of the best companies around. They’re known for their durability and toughness, and their knives are ideal for those who prefer to carry them on their belt. In addition to their rugged blades, they also feature durable Kydex sheath systems.

Some of the best-selling Becker Knives are the Ka-Bar Becker series. These are full-tang fixed blade knives that are perfect for camping and other outdoor activities. The company makes a number of models, from the Campanion to the Brute. Each knife has a unique design, and each knife is designed to be versatile and durable.

TDI

If you’re looking for a low profile fixed blade knife, consider purchasing a TDI tactical knife. This design is designed for both law enforcement and security personnel. It was created by John Benner, the President and Chief Instructor of Tactical Defense Institute.

The TDI LE is a unique ergonomic design that allows you to carry the knife on either side of your body. It’s ideal for basic thrusting and cutting strokes. Despite its limited capabilities, the TDI LE is a high quality, low profile fixed blade knife that is ideal for the police officer in close quarters.

While the TDI LE is a very popular model, there are other versions of the TDI tactical knife that are available. These include the TDI Folder and the Large TDI LE with a tanto blade.
